Judge rules: the Government is obliged to process all the applications it accepted.

On June 14, 2012 the Federal Court in its final decision (meaning refusing the Minister’s request for appeal) ruled that the government ought to review all the  applications it accepted into the system.

We have already reported that approximately 900 applicants under the Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) – also known as the Canadian Back loggers Pre-2008 Association – launched a legal action to force the government to review their applications. In its Thursday decision, Toronto Star reports, Justice Donald Rennie ruled for the case’s lead litigant, an IT project manager in China, forcing the Immigration to finalize his application by October 14, 2012.
